Šī gada Disundi sērijas trešais pasākums top sadarbībā ar Riga Art Week, aicinot uz īpašu mūzikas vakaru, kurā sastapsies dzīvais izpildījums un rūpīgi atlasītas skaņas.
Šajā vakarā uzstāsies Uncle Rodion, Raivo, Dauwd, Henri Lakis.
The third edition of this year’s Disundi series arrives in collaboration with Riga Art Week for a distinctive night of music, bringing together live performance and selected sounds. For the occasion we welcome Uncle Rodion, Raivo, Dauwd and Henri Lakis.>
Uncle Rodion is dj, music curator and producer from the 90s, known for his love of music and vast vinyl collection is also an integral part of Uncles Bundle - hosts of ongoing event series called Soundays Kkc.>
Raivo is a Latvian interdisciplinary artist, producer, and DJ based in Vilnius, Lithuania. He isalso the studio manager at Radio Vilnius. . Raivo uses his drum machines and samplers to take early house and technosound into the contemporary dance floor. He uses hard kicks and groovy baselines to buildtracks that are layered and unravel gradually.>
Dauwd Al Hilali, known as Dauwd, is an electronic music producer and DJ of Iraqi descent, celebrated for his intricate blends of house, techno, and ambient music. His early works on Pictures Music, Ghostly or Ninja Tunes International garnered critical acclaim for their lush soundscapes, now dedicating his productions to his own imprint 'Psssh records'.Residing in Berlin, Dauwd became a pivotal member of the collective African Acid Is The Future (AAITF), known for their eclectic events that fuse electronic music, and rareties with African rhythms. His involvement with AAITF highlights his versatility and dedication to cross-cultural musical exploration, making him a prominent figure in Berlin's vibrant electronic music scene.>
Henri Lakis is an artistic figure known in Riga and Berlin scene. His sets sophistically delve into the realms of electronic, industrial and world music.His musical research explores rhythm and repetition as collective experiences, drawing on early dance traditions to create immersive, physical listening environments.
