Unshelling. Material movement performance for an intimate audience.
Without projections, theatre lights, or sound systems, the creators offer an tactile experience of presence at a time when human attention is increasingly saturated by technology.
“Unshelling” is part of a longer artistic-research process, one of whose core principles is following materials rather than using them to communicate fixed ideas. Following is wandering and curious by nature. It always takes the follower somewhere new. Rather than confirming what is already known or searching for certainties, following affirms what is still unfolding. Or unshelling.
There is no spoken text in the performance.
